this morning (20 Sept '24) I was notified of improvements to the daily readiness score function, that these would be applied immediately and retrospectively. On the contrary! I have no score for today and all previous data appears to have been deleted from my account. Does anyone have an explanation or similar experience?
Just spoke to customer services for exactly same issue, this was their response “We are having some issues with the Fitbit app, some data or health metrics can disappear or shows incorrect, our developers are working to fix it as soon as possible, once this has been resolved the app will show all the information”
Best AnswerSame here. I have Fitbit Premium and all my previous readiness scores are gone. I'm also getting a message to wear my Fitbit for 7 consecutive days to get a score. Why? Ive been getting a daily score for years, but nothing as of this morning.
Best AnswerI have Premium, switched to Free Version, and all my history is removed, however for a few seconds the history shows, then disappears. Hope they merge the data. But when we switched to Zone Minutes we lost Active Minutes and the data was lost. Used to be it's own slide now part of Sleep slide. YMMV
So the plot thickens, there are two readiness scores, the premium version has its own section in the Fitbit database separate from the Free version. I can open the Premium version thru the Sense view scores then go down to open in Fitbit app, a link shows up on my notification tray, I can click it and see all my old scores.
Best AnswerMore info they charged the calibration, so as I have both scores, my old score is also based on activities like your exercise, the new score is not, they claim more accurate, but we will see, I have only my premium score. So as to historical data, they most likely won't merge the data as the formula to make up the score is different, but they could apply the formula to all the previous data, it is after all in the database. YMMV
Why can't we have both scores? Premium provides a daily readiness scores and free version is a separate score. Google bring back the previous slider for those that have premium as they are really different formulas and will produce a different score.
Update: So did a force stop on the App, now both scores are active, Thursday I had 63 Good score in premium and 52 Good in free version. So for this one day ~11 difference. Friday 71 Premium and 53 Free a ~18 difference. Saturday 68 Premium and 31 free, big difference. Will update if both work on Sunday.
