Fitbit sense acting weird since I changed watch strap

  • I bought my Fitbit sense a couple of years ago. So it's not brand new. I recently changed the watch strap for the first time and have been noticing some odd things.
  • The Fitbit no longer seems to be able to read or track my pulse
  • The battery life drops significantly throughout the day
  • When I go to put the watch on and I'm adjusting the buckle to fit my wrist, the Fitbit wakes up and is vibrating and going through random settings, acting like I'm touching the screen or side button but I'm not. I'm literally only touching the straps to adjust.

Hi @aceoftrace - have you tried to restart it and also swipe the watch face to the right to get to Quick Settings and checked the settings.

Does it get hot with charging, if so stop.

What may have happened is the screen seal broke when manipulating the straps and possibly it got water in. Don't ever get it wet again.

Drying in a bag of rice for a few days may improve it, if it got water in.
