Fitbit sense clocks not logging steps but my Fitbit app is.

This morning my clock face disappeared from my Sense! When I went onto the app it showed an update available. I updated and went for a walk. The Sense now shows my steps on the Today icon but no steps showing on the clock face. I’ve tried switching my iPhone off, switching the Sense off, redoing the Bluetooth connection. Finally managed to get the steps on the clock and app to match but as I’m pottering about the steps don’t seem to be increasing. 
is this something to do with the update? 
is there something wrong with my Sense? 
Grrrr!

Hi, @lightwoodhr welcome to the community, you do not mention which clock face you are using. Try changing to another one, especially if your current clock face is not "Fitbit" designed.

Thanks for replying.
The clock face was Akira which is a Fitbit clock. I tried several others with no success. Thankfully I've managed to get it working again after a lot of messing around. As with all these things they’re great when they work but very frustrating when they don’t 🙄
