Fitbit sense start up sound

Please can anyone else confirm with me that the fitbit sense made a sound when it was first turned on after unboxing? Mine did, a ladies on YouTube did. Its only bothering me a little as now it only vibrates and I cant find any settings to allow the "ding" sound to come back it would be lovely for notifications instead of it vibrating. Im curious because if it can make a sound then surely it can be set up to do so. I asked fitbit in the live chat and they confirmed it only vibrates and they were curious to know why it made a ding sound when it first ever turned on. They even confirmed that it doesnt make sounds but im telling you it did. Even if it was just a one off 😄

The Sense has a speaker, so it is possible that is made a sound.  Whether this was intentional or a bug in the OS, is unknown.  Eventually, the Sense will be able to take phone calls when paired with a phone.

Unboxed mine this afternoon, and now that you mention it ... I think there might have been a little "ding" there somewhere.  As you say, it would be nice if the Sense provide us with a cheerful reminder that it is doing something from time to time 😀

You most certainly did hear a chime when you unboxed. (just a tease)  I find it shocking that most never got excited like I did that Fitbit finallyyyyy added a Speaker and Mic to their overpriced product so that it can finally compete a bit better with all the others.

Only to be disappointed that the very reason I purchased the new Sense for did not have any the features that they clearly advertised that hooked me in the first place! =(

1. "Working" Speaker
2. "Working" Mic
3. Google (no where to be found!)

Will I return my Fitbit Sense, probably not, been using Fitbit since the very fist prototype and it's my addiction but still I am VERY disappointed they release the Sense before they enabled what they advertised I don't appreciate forking out all that money for their immediate gratification whilst I have to wait with this sense for my features to be enabled and implemented whenever that days comes???
