Hello!
I found a fitbit sense at my school in a box labeled 'lost and found 2020'. Totally possible that it was lost more recently, just what the box said. I got a charger for it so I could turn it on and hopefully it will ping its owner? I've never had this device so I'm not sure. Any tips on how to return it to its rightful person?
Best AnswerHi @marlowe206 no, the Fitbit can't ping the owner, but using bluetooth, the owner can try to locate their Sense. They would need to be within 25 feet or so to sync or for a bluetooth finder app to help them find it. The owner probably has been looking all over campus for it. Is there a newspaper or whatever electronic newsletter that you announce finding it?

Hi @marlowe206 - Please contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.
What they may be able to do is locate the device by its serial number if you attach it to the Fitbit App on a phone. They should be able to deal with locating the email address of the original owner.
Thanks for helping the person who lost it and are very upset.
Would be nice to know if you succeed.
