Rumours of a new function for Irregular Heart Rhythm Notifications have been seen.
Could this lead to improvement in Heart rate issues?

It is not a rumor since it is now listed in the Fitbit support page here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2467.htm
How do I turn on irregular rhythm notifications?
Anyone can verify they see this option under the Discover tab?

@Clove6060 https://www.techradar.com/news/fitbit-update-brings-major-new-heart-health-feature-to-9-devices Although I don't see why anyone would expect sudden changes in the exercise heart rate issues on the Sense and Versa 3. Unless @Guy_ us referring to something else.

@Guy_ My Versa 3 already has v. 128.6.12, newer than the minimum listed in the link. I don’t think this feature will address any heart rate issues. Available information says that this will be a background measurement, emphasizing that users should wear their devices when sleeping. It sounds like this feature won’t be looking at your heart rate while active, just during rest

Also, please note this feature will not be added as a part of a NEW Firmware, this is inaccurate. This feature will be added in an upcoming APP update for selected US markets for now.

@Criterion This feature should come to all US users who have compatible devices.

@Guy_ I am getting my information from the same link that you posted. The way I read it, the feature can analyze your heart rate when you are awake, but at rest. This feature is coming to nine devices and isn't listed as being a premium feature. Since it uses the current OHR monitors and different devices have different OHR monitor configurations, I'm not sure how it could bring about any improvements. I believe any change in a heart rate algorithm would require a firmware update. This feature isn't a firmware update.
Here is the manual.

Not seeing this in the discovery tile, but the app is acting a bit wonky today. I think they may be working on something in the background.
