Function when pushing a stroller

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It would be awesome if there were better functions for parents, like walking while pushing a heavy stroller. More accurate step counts while pushing it. Otherwise you have to push with one hand. Pushing these heavier weights/strollers directly impact heart rate, cardio response, etc. too . Anything like that coming?

The same issue generally applies to pushing shopping cart and treadmill holding hand rails.

I don't know of anything coming, but you can generally get good step count if put tracker in a pocket, but then lose heart rate data.

Another option that works for some is to buy a third-party strap extender (Amazon) and wear just above ankle.  That should give good step count, and some say they also get heart rate data, depending on exact placement.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

It effects more than step count. Pushing the stroller also impact heart rate and should be taken into account.
