Hey Sense users - I found out that issues I have been having the last few days with GPS on Walk and Hike exercises is due to a recent fitbit update and they are working to fix it. The issue i was experiencing is that the distance tracking was wildly out of whack - usually i take 20 minutes to hike a mile and it was giving readings like 75 minutes and 45 minutes. Also, it was not recording distance properly - one part of the walk I know is a mile was being recorded as only a third of a mile. I use this watch every day for my walks so I know pretty much how far and long each leg takes.
Anyway I did a factory reset trying to resolve this problem and that went badly so I phoned customer support for help. I got the watch going again but learned as well that the specific problem I was trying to address was due to a problem with an update.
