Glitch after firmware update over counting steps

After doing the firmware update this morning my step log is saying I did 11,000 steps at 3am while I was asleep!! I've done a factory reset after restarting my sense didn't work and still after all that it still shows 11,000 steps at 3am and there is no way to delete. Help.
