Hand washing reminders?

Does anyone know what triggers the hand washing reminders? So far I got two reminders within a second of each other upon waking up about 10 am, one reminder while making a cup of tea at about 2 pm, and one reminder while typing on this forum a few minutes ago. Are they random?

Hi @sockatume, good to see you in the community.

 

Personally I turned these off as I found them to be an annoyance. For me it seemed as though they would just be triggered at a set schedule. I think something like the clean cues watch face (here) might be more effective.

Thanks, I've also since disabled them. I'll look at Clean Cues.
