Has Sense ECG app been approved to use in Australia?

Hi there,

I recently upgraded to the fitbit sense following my ionic failing.

I was very interested in the ECG app however have since learned its not available for fitbit customers in Australia.  I'm aware that it was approved for use on Apple smart watches in March. Is this likely to become the case for fitbit Australia customers? Very keen for a reply on this.

I've seen the apple app in action and its a sensational tool for a non medical HR analysis.

Thanks

Brendan

The approval process takes some time and you can follow its progress, availability at the bottom

What is strange is that it could be made available everywhere with a proviso its not for medical purposes marked on any results in countries where its not yet approved.

Thanks for the update Tony, what’s next? Do we wait for another Fitbit update?

Hey!

Thanks for the info.

I guess we wait for the software update for the device to become available?
