Have you experienced any discomfort with Versa 3 or Sense?

I am thinking about buying a versa3 or sense.

My old charge2 caused rash due to the contact points for the battery charger. Therefore I stopped using it.

Please share experience with the Sense or Versa 3.

Hi @Purrie - I’ve not had any discomfort with either my Versa 3 or my Sense. But then I do not have a history of allergies like you. My best suggestion, if you want to take a chance, is to purchase the device from a nearby authorized retailer. Most will allow you to return the device to the store for any reason within a certain number of days. Naturally, you should verify their return policy before making the purchase.

HI @Purrie  - I have started experiencing a rash from the metal backing (terminal) side of the watch. This did not occur for me with Ionic. The issue I am having is similar to what others have posted about regarding Versa 2. I have moved the watch to my right wrist now (from my left) to allow my left to heal. I am starting to see development on my right wrist, though I am taking the watch off periodically through the day now to allow for the wrist to heal.

It seems there may be an issue with the type of metal material used on the backing of Versa, Sense line for certain people.

So I had the Fitbit Sense for a few weeks, and I loved it. But unfortunately I have a metal allergy, and I found that I was having discomfort from the charge points on the back of the Sense. I've reached out to the Feature suggestions on a way to cover the charge ports so that we can still use the Sense, and I believe it would work on the Versa as well.

I have worn fitbit products for almost 5 years.  I got the Sense about a month ago and have broken out, where the metal watch back is against my skin.  Lost a layer of skin and actually had a bit of an open raised wound.  Never wore the Sense in the shower and always washed and dried and then had the watch air dry, when I shower.  Never had an issue until the Sense.
