I am not happy. I just went from a Garmin Fenix 5x to Fitbit Sense and today it showed I've walked 3 miles when the only time I left house was to drive for some errands. My Garmin NEVER tracked driving as exercise activity.
Since I feel logging a driving activity is a waste of my time... do I need to turn off auto detection of exercise to stop this? Or is it because of some GPS setting I have.

The GPS or autodetection are not the culprit here, the problem is that steps are counted by Fitbit because of vibrations or how you move the wrist, Fitbit is saying it is normal for a device on a wrist but your experience with G (but also mine with P) doesn't agree....

It's going back... should have done more research.. and the fact the only way I can listen to music without my iPhone is to pay for Spotify or Deezer subscription doesn't sit well with me either. I may just go back to my Garmin Fenix 5 Plus or look at the new Fenix 7 that just came out.
