My fitbit continues to record a heartrate when removed from my wrist and placed on arm of my sofa. How is this possible ? I have the watch face that has a pulsing heart to show me my pulse in real time. It stops when I pick it up but then picks up a pulse again when I place it down on the sofa. The pulse goes up and down like a real pulse between 70 -100. I'm a little freaked out to be honest that my sofa has a pulse ! On a serious note though I have a heart condition which is why I purchased the sense and I rely on it having an accurate reading. How can I trust the data if it thinks my sofa is alive.
