Heart rate polling rate

Is there a way to get the graph in the app to display a heartrate that is an average of a shorter time period?  I did a 10 min bike ride today, I looked down about once a min and never dropped below 120, the graph shows my peak during that time as 112.  I just can't make any sense of it.

You can also export your heart rate data to a 3rd party app/platform called Cardiogram. I mention this because it actually offers a much more detailed graph (compared to the Fitbit app) which can be zoomed in on sections. I think from your initial post, maybe this is what you are looking for?

Try clicking on the exercise tile in the Fitbit App.

You will see the various exercises.

If you click on one it will expand.

Along the top there are tabs, one of which is heart rate which then shows a graph.

On the Fitbit app, click on the "Track your exercise" tile, then click in the bike ride event, and then slide over to the Heart Rate page; you should then see what you're looking for:
