Heart rate strap supported devices?

I own a Versa Lite and wanted to upgrade to a Sense because I like Fit Bit as a step counter and it's sleep analysis. I also like the heart rate monitor for non active exercise such as walking but because on all these devices are wildly inaccurate when you start to workout and would like to integrate a proper chest heart rate monitor - it's impossible.

No problem, I'll simply road cycle with my power meter chest heart rate data and GPS from my Wahoo bike computer and import that from Strava to Fitbit - it doesn't work and removes the GPS and heart rate data - I mean, WTAF, these are the main metrics anyone would surely want?

So this got me thinking. I want a wrist watch that can count steps, analyze sleep and integrate a chest heart rate strap either on the watch itself or by allowing data from a third party to be synced in the background after a workout.

What is out there that can achieve this - is it just Garmin and Garmin connect? I'd love to stay with Fitbit but it's been years (I have a Versa Lite!) and see that you still cant do this basic request using my own data even on the flagship Sense model.

Thanks

Certainly not Fitbit.

I've just bought a Polar Vantage M2 and H10 chest strap as this is crazy that FitBit hasn't moved into the more pro side of the market. Polar let you connect lots of Bluetooth devices such as cycling power meters, heart rate monitors etc, and then when done with your serious exercise, the watch reverts back to the onboard optical HRM for daily activities such as walking. Using a chest strap also saves on the watch battery!

The sleep analysis from the Vantage M2 is the best on the market, and the Polar app is free to use so won't cost every month like FitBit Premium.

I think it ticks all the boxes and for all of the above, it's not much more expensive than a FitBit Sense if you make use of the New Year voucher codes.

@Franks5K same Garmin, Suunto or Coros watches. It's remains unexplained why Fitbit resists from adding better connectivity and support external sensors. My theory is that it's because there are no Fitbit chest straps or other Fitbit branded sensors and the company is very unlikely to pair with third-party hardware.
