My fitbit sense just recently stopped working. It shut down totally and with online support it was found to be totally unresponsive. Customer service deemed it necessary to send me a new device to replace the defective one. I received the new device today and have disconnected the old device from my account. My question is how do I do a factory reset and is it even necessary on my old device if I can't get it to even turn on?

I got through to someone via Chat and was told no need to reset this device. Take it to nearest e-waste facility. Problem solved
