How do I change the exercise shortcuts on Sense to activities that aren’t already in the list on the watch? I’ve noticed that activities beeing used later can be reached from the top of the list of exercises - but I’d like to have i.e. cross country skiing as a shortcut and this one isn’t on the list to choose from.

Hi, @elin.petters1 , you cannot change the exercise shortcuts on your Sense.  That is a fixed list.  For cross country skiing you should track it as an "outdoor workout".  When it syncs to your app it is very easy to edit the name to change it from outdoor workout to cross country skiing.  It really only takes a few seconds.  If you need more detailed instructions please let us know which app (Android, iOS, or Windows 10) you use.

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the Community!

Thank you for your response! But: I don’t have «outdoor workout» in my list either - and when I try to edit the workout, I can only choose these activities: Bike, golf, interval workout, hike, run and walk?? I use IOS.

I have "workout" in the list, but this exercise doesn't look like it's using the GPS. However:when I try using this one, I can edit the exercise to any other exercise in the app. But it doesn't solve the problem, because I want the GPS tracking.

I don't see how to rename the workout in neither the Android app nor on the website's Dashboard. Could you explain? Thanks!

Hello @Konrad_H and welcome to the Community forum.  I am an iOS user, but I think both mobile apps work the same for renaming exercises.  When you look at the exercise details, look for the Categorize Exercise option near the top.  Tap on that to rename your exercise.  I can't confirm this, but some users wrote that the iOS version has more choices than the Android version.  When you are looking at the web version of your list of workouts, look for the pencil next to the name.  If there is a pencil, you can rename it.

If you use the Exercise app, you can only rename "workout".  If you track a walk using GPS, you can't rename it.

@elin.petters1   Outdoor Workout wasn't on the shortcut list when the Sense was released.  It was added in a firmware update.  I don't recommend it for cross country skiing.  Outdoor Workout was designed for non-step based activities like kayaking.  It has GPS, but your distance isn't added to your daily total.  I recommend Hike for cross country skiing, but you cant rename it.
