@MarreFitbit, This is all well and good, but what was asked was Battery Level in %. I noticed that the new app does not show that information that the previous app showed during data updates. I used that feature extensively while the watch was charging to determine exact battery level.
Battery Status in your description is the crude low, medium, full status which is inexact at best and horrendously misleading information.
Many people, myself included, much prefer the previous app. It is missing many pieces of information that used to be there. It brought along several bugs that show inadequate or total lack of testing. It should never have been released. Think regression testing before future software releases.
For my part, I have purchased my last Fitbit watch. I plan on switching to companies that test their software for basic functionality before releasing to the masses. I did try Fitbit Premium but it is too buggy and too expensive. No quality control at all. (MHO)
