How do I play music on Sense without a phone?

I specifically purchased Sense to play music without having to take my phone with me on long runs.

I used and had a paid subscription to Pandora for years which worked well both on my older Ionic and my newer Sense.

However as of April 2023, Pandora and Deezer are no longer supported.  Ok, we got a subscription to Spotify.  I thought that would solve it.  I don't like Spotify as much as I do Pandora, but you do what you have to, right?

WRONG.  I can ONLY get Spotify to control music streamed or stored on other devices.  My smartphone, the house's echo dot, my neighbor's computer.  This is absolutely USELESS when I bought the watch for the express purpose of not having to take a smartphone with me.

My reserach tells me that the Spotify Connect and Control app on Fitbit does not have the capability to actually store and play music.  Am I missing a critical step to allow my watch to play music or do I now own an utterly useless piece of equipment that doesn't track as well as the Garmins that literally everyone else in my running and biking clubs use.

Hello @JmePSG and welcome to the Community.  No, you aren't missing a critical step.  Fitbit/Google took away the ability to play music from your Sense.  Sorry.
