How do I unlock my Sense if it's unpaired?

My sense has been disconnecting with my app on my iPhone. I was trying to troubleshoot it.  At the same time the device reported unlock on phone.

A friend suggested that I remove the sense from the app which I did. However, now I can’t set up the Sense

because the new pairing code is hidden behind the unlock pin which no longer works.

any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Your friend gave you the worse advice that they could of given @OkieDiver.

The instructions are to use the fitbit app to setup a new password, a 30 second process. The timing of these steps are critical.

  • Now we have to do a factory reset..
  • Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  • When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates the factory reset.

As mentioned in my last post, timing of the steps are critical. I would try again or contact support. Many user have found that these steps do work however it may take several tries.

If the tracker was not removed. You would open fitbit app, go to the versa 3 settings, set a new unlock code.

If the Pin Lock was set for only Fitbit pay, this would not be an issue. You would be able to setup the tracker as a new device, then setup a new pin.

Tap in the top right corner of this page, then tap contact fitbit. It may not work with the new OS, but I can confirm that in 2021 this process did work.
