About a week and a half ago, Fitbit released new firmware for Sense. Ever since that firmware update was released, my battery would drain in a matter of hours after a full charge. I contacted customer support and they told me that the firmware updates little by little with each sync and that is why my battery is draining. It has been almost two weeks and apparently my firmware update is still incomplete. Has anyone else received similar feedback? My Sense went from being a great tool to practically useless since this started.

When I updated mine a few week back when it was new, the update happened over Wifi and took less than 10 mins in total. If you go to the settings then system info on your sense and check your software version, what does it say? 44.128.4.17 is the latest version, which was released months ago. If your version matches, it's already updated and the issue you are having is something else.

Do the update while you are on your wireless at home and it will probably get done otherwise it is trying to use bluetooth and takes forever to finish. I had this problem the last time I did an update.

I haven't heard of an update for the Sense. My Sense is at the latest mentioned in the help file. 44.128.4.17 which I received last year.
If the update gets downloaded in the background, the update is being buffered to the watch and the user will get notified when the install files in tge tracker are complete.

I've been doing it over WiFi. However, Fitbit support said that it was not the sync button that was pushing the update. Rather, they said that it was happening bit by bit every time I synced with the app and that is why it was taking so long. I don't really buy that, but am willing to accept it if others have the same experience.

So your Sense does have the latest released firmware. Your trackers are up to date.
When the next firmware is released their will be a pinned post about the release.
