How to change Temperature - for Weather, Centigrade - Fahrenheit, Sense

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

If you set the temperature in the Fitbit App [profile photo => App settings => Units => temperature] and you are still not getting the degrees in Fahrenheit or Centigrade as you have defined it, it is because the Weather app has its own settings.

To fix the temperature degrees for Weather:

 In the Fitbit App click

  • Profile photo
  • Device photo
  • Gallery (or Apps)
  • Scroll to Weather
  • Settings
  • Temperature unit
  • Set to desired value

Then sync the watch.

For weather showing directly on the clock face there may or may not be a clock face setting to change.

If it is still a problem,

  • remove cities in the weather list of cities setting
  • and use current location
  • Ensure weather permissions are correct
  • and sync again.

THANK YOU!!!! I would have never figured this out… and heaven knows I’m too stubborn to learn the metric system.
WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF FITBIT COULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO OFFER THE SOLUTION!! 😠

There's no Weather component in the iOS app. When I do find Units, it's already set to Fahrenheit, but Celsius is showing on my device. The weird thing is that it showed Fahrenheit yesterday.

I refuse to call in, as I have yet to speak to a customer service rep that knew what they were talking about.

Changing the units in the Fitbit app doesn’t affect the settings in the weather “sub app” (if you will) you need to go deeper in the gallery and find the weather sub app and change the units in there. The weather sub app must be in the gallery or you would not have any weather information on your watch.

Hi,

Appart from what @wjbertrand  suggested, which by the way is the solution, you might want to make sure that the weather app under the gallery has full permission to your location on the phone to ensure an accurate result. I recently switched to iPhone and it works ok.

hope this helps.
