How to prevent accidental pausing during a workout / lock the screen during a workout.

I do kickboxing and when someone kicks my pads, the strap touches the screen and it pauses midworkout. It is so frustrating! Surely there is a screen lock I can implement like on the Garmens! What can I do to prevent this???

Also it would help if there was a waist band that pairs with the fitbit so I don't have to wear the watch! Then again, only Garmen has this aparently! It's a big inconvenience for my sport tracking.

Exactly the problem I am having. I was doing peck flys today and it kept pausing without me noticing. Surely only the button should pause a workout unless you scroll down on the screen and pause that way. 

It makes no sense to be able pause it simply by touching the screen once it’s too problematic and easily accidentally pressed.
