I found the heart rate category to be close enough for my question. If I'm mistaken, feel free to move it elsewhere.
First, if you look at the picture below, the time is 00:07 (12:07 am). I had already been asleep for about an hour when Sense takes me for a spin in my sleep. Sense has a GPS sensor. How is it possible for the watch to record a 15 min cycling trip while I'm in bed?
I have a sleeping heartbeat rate between 50 - 55. During these 15 minutes, my average heartbeat rate was recorded twice as high. These fifteen minutes in my sleep was sufficient to reach my activity goal for the day.
This recording is not a one-time incident. I thought I went for an upgrade when I replaced my Charge 3. I am not so sure anymore. Since my device fails at these basics in functionality, I don't trust it when it comes to the more advanced readings. Readings I do not have enough knowledge to consider if they are correct or incorrect.
I bought Sense because it is supposed to have more advanced features than my previous device. It is frustrating not knowing what I can rely on to be correct readings. Are my issues unheard of, or do they indicate something is wrong with my device? Should I ask for a replacement? I simply do not know.

Weird! Have you tried simply restarting the watch?
Shut down the watch [Swipe left, Settings, at the bottom, Shutdown] wait a minute
[Hold the button till it vibrates or logo appears] Wait for the clock to reappear. |

I have restarted the device more than once. As a long shot, I also reinstalled the Fitbit app. I am a nerd, and reinstall is what we do when everything else fails. Sometimes, without any logical explanation, it works.
I.have temporarily disabled "Outdoor Bike" in Auto Recognized Exercises.. For a short period of time is ok, but it is not a permanent solution.
