i can’t find the weather app on my new sense?

I found the problem! I had to change the location settings on the app - go to Settings, Fitbit app, Location - set to Always.

When I had the versa, I had to pay for the app. interesting.. I want my money back. lol

You paid for a third party app, not the ftibit one.

What instead looks very strange to me is that @LindsayJ didn't find it installed.

Hi @LindsayJ  - Follow this procedure to see how to change Temperature - for Weather, Centigrade - Fahrenheit, Sense, Versa 3 If you don't find the Weather App in the Fitbit App, it might need installing.

For your watch, try restarting it, then Swiping right edge to the left and see if the Weather launch icon appears amongst the icons.

The weather app is free from fitbit.

First, thanks for reading this 🙂 I have the Versa 3 and I bought it in Dec of last year.  I have tried everything to get new clock faces and fix my weather that keeps giving me celsius instead of F.  It is setup as F in units.  But when I try to go to to the galary, it only gives me the message... "Opos, looks like no internet connection".  The internet connects for a few secs but have to hit go back page and it disconnects me.  Can I get the Weather app that is associated with fitbit in google pay or any where.  Thanks

HI @TotheRepublic  - Have a look at No internet connection - it is often a phone issue but if you can click on the clocks or apps tabs at the top before the error message appears, then it may be a local problem

 

You will need to get into the Versa 3 tab at the top to fix the weather temperature units and sync the watch.

 

You can always contact Fitbit Support directly.

Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.

 

There may be no immediate cure.

Thanks.I try to connect to versa 3 or versa 3 control.  Won't let me connect to either.  But my phone sync with my Watch.Where is the versa 3?  On watch or phone?Thanks againSent via the Samsung Galaxy S10+, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

@TotheRepublic  -  if your watch is syncing that is already good.

 

In the Fitbit App , click profile photo, device photo and click on the Gallery tile,  there are 3 tabs at the top.

Versa 3, Clocks, Apps

 

If you can get into Clocks or Apps before it gives you the error message that means the Internet access is fine and the message you are getting is a false message. Please tell this to support when you contact them.

 

If you get the error on all 3 tabs then it's a phone configuration issue as given in the link.

FYI: :memo:

Thanks everyone for all your help.  I found my solution: [See Below]

 

I couldn't even click on the "VERSA 3" (With the picture of the watch logo left of it) to get to the "Gallary" to find any apps to install.

Here is how I fixed the :

   Turned OFF my VPN ....

 

Open FITBIT App on your phone

Click on your profile picture

This takes you to your "Account"

Click "VERSA 3" (This is the where there is a small watch logo to the left of the words) (Must be compatible to your watch)

Click "Gallery"

Click "Weather"

This will take you to the "Weather" app to install (AccuWeather)

    Must select to allow all permissions (Enable)

Set up your current location and the temperature unit..  (Fahrenheit)

When the WEATHER App is setup and starts working, turn the VPN back ON (optional).
