I'd like to see exercise live data on the Fitbit app

What I think should be made available is a full mobile screen with a large number depicting current HR and several other fields like current distance, current speed, average speed. I see there is a map tracker page for walking and hiking. Adding cycling and some of the aforementioned functions would be what I seek.

Hi @Wrenwick. Welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about the Fitbit app. Currently the Fitbit app will display your basic stats (steps, distance, floors, calories and active zone minutes) and heart rate live during your exercise, however to see your exercise data you'll need to finish and sync your activity. I understand how helpful it'd be to see just your exercise data live on the Fitbit app and while this isn't possible, you can bring this idea to the Feature Suggestions board so other members can vote for it and our developers can take it into consideration. You can find more about this board here.

See you around!

I'm sure I remember observing real-time my gym workouts on things like an elliptical machine a treadmill or stationary biking where heart rate and other live stats displayed in real-time, without any refreshing or waiting to finish the workout. This was maybe a year or two ago! And now it's gone. Good job fitbiteme.

Hi there, @FitbitUser124.

Thanks for joining this thread and sharing your insights about this situation. Let me clarify that the previous post was referring about other stats which are available on the Exercise app, and you can only see them on the Fitbit app after syncing. However, the live data still exist as you can still see your stats and heart rate changing while doing a workout or during your daily activities.

I appreciate your feedback, please know we'll keep working on our products to improve them and make Fitbit more useful for you. If by any chance you're having an issue, don't hesitate to post it in the Help Forums or get in touch with our Support team for further assistance.
