I "walked" almost 13000 steps... driving

I bought sense a few days ago and I regret everyday buying it. I'm not going through the heart rate accuracy which is awful because there are plenty of people already complaining.

Today i started my day with a 300+ km road trip. Nice highway, cruise mode all the time, no bumps. I started my trip with around 200 steps. At the end of this trip i had almost 7000 steps. Another +300 km back home and i beat my step record with this watch. More than 13000 steps. There is just a problem. This was probably the day i walked less since i own the watch, because i spent all day driving...

I've owned many smartwatches,  which sometimes counted a few steps extra  in bed or driving. But it was so insignificant that i never cared. But for a 300+ euros watch this is not acceptable. Not even for a 30 euros watch...

PS: i will not remove the watch every time i have to drive or use some app to stop step count while driving. It's ridiculous.

PS: i removed the watch put it in the box and sealed. Since the store doesn't accept returns i´ll try everything to sell it, even if i only get 50% of his value. Absolutely no trust in this watch.

Your Fitbit disagrees with your ride being smooth.

Was the ride recorded as a bike ride?

Car. I made this trip several times with samsung  active 2 and had no problems with extra steps.

A few years ago I bought a fitbit band (can't remember the model) that had the same problem. Returned that band because of this. I completely forgot that episode. But if I remembered before buying sense it would not change my decision of buying it because I thought that problem was solved. Guess not. Since then I owned a few smart bands/smartwatches and never experienced this problem. Counting almost 7000 steps while driving on a highway is insane.

I have the opposite problem, 13000 steps counted as 7000. GPS underestimating distance. Heart rate inaccurate. SpO2 unreliable.

Overall a very disappointing purchase
