After a couple of years with no problem last week also my wife's Sense had the problem of the screen detatching without any hit or similar, it simple detatched.
This is the picture she sent me when it happened. It is worthy to mention that my wife doesn't do any sport with the watch (she does sport activities that do not allow the use of any wearable) and th watch was never in contact with water, either in pool, sea or bat/shower.
Upon verification it turned out, as easily expected, that the sealant was very dry, hint of very poor quality.
However because of gravity force when the display feel down it broke one of the wires and it turned out to be the one connecting the NFC installed in the display to the motherboard. As my wife doesn't use NFC (our credit card is not supported by Fitbit Pay) I simply removed the flat cable, added some liquid sealant and the watch is back in action. Below some pictures taken during the repair.
I don't know how water resistant is now the watch but honestly I feel that the application of the sealant as I made it is way better than the poor quality one used by Fitbit.
Final note: although Fitbit doesn't offer any repair service for its watch I was surprised to see that there are 3rd party screens like those for sale on Aliexpress. As I said I wasn't interested on them as the original one is still working (except the NFC) nevertheless it is interesting.

@Dopovo What sealant did you use? There are other users who say that their screens popped off, but never got their Fitbits wet or did anything else. I think your experience can help other users.
