FitBit Sense was first purchased in early December 2020 and failed to charge about 10 days into use; it had about 12% charge left when I connected it to the provided charger. It became very hot and would not boot again. Returned to Costco. Bought a second Sense, received a few days ago. After setup (several days ago) it would not track sleep. Community reso8nse from FitBit rep said try to reboot the Sense Watch. I turned off through Settings, and now it will not reboot. I reconnected it to charger and and after several hours there is no change. Is there a lot QC issue? Any suggestions? Should I simply return again to Costco?

Just out of curiosity. Are you charging via a USB port on a PC or a USB port adapter to a wall outlet. Some adapters liek the one on my computers desk are cheap and do not ground correctly. I wonder if its sending too much current to your device. Or not enough. I would make sure and try a computer USB which sends the lowest power levels in general. (Not a fast charge device)

Hello @CR001 Welcome to the Community Forums! @SunsetRunner @Nyril It's great to see you around and thanks for your input!
@CR001 thanks for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried prior to posting. Your comments and feedback regarding our Fitbit products and services are very appreciated. Fitbit devices go through rigorous testing to ensure that they meet the high-quality standards expected. However, due to some factors that are beyond human control, they may encounter a manufacturing issue that can only be determined once experienced.
It seems that your Sense is refusing to charge. I would like to confirm if you have followed all of the steps suggested in this help article:
Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
For Sleep, please refer to the following link: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
Let me know how it goes.
