Is there a secret to fastening the Sense watch band? Trying to put it on tight and slide the excess band under doesn’t work.

No secret. Just have to play with it a bit. I was not a fan of original band and bought a more traditional clasp black and white sport band from Fitbit. There are a lot of different bands available on Amazon but I choose to go authentic Fitbit, figured the fit would be more exacting.
