Coming from Versa 2. Love the music app. Main reason I use the watch - running without a phone, gym is the same.
Now I got my Sense.
No Music App. Deezer is there, requires a sub for £10/month. Still not possible to upload my own MP3s to the watch. Does anyone know a way around this? Has FitBit gone nuts? Smartwatch that doesn't allow for file playback?
Yes, Deezer allows you to upload your own MP3s to the service. Guess what though?
Deezer/Fitbit will actively block you from syncing a playlist with your own music on. There's even a paragraph on how that is not allowed.
ANyone else think this is crazy? I will be returning my watch immediately if there's no solution...
Shame because otherwise I like it quite a bit.

Hi @MusicFan88 unfortunately there is no way to transfer your own music to Sense/Versa 3. It only works with Pandora or Deezer and Spotify merely acts as a remote for your phone.

I heard a bit ago when everyone was talking about the pre-orders that you were not going to be able to use offline music with the sense. A lot of the Ionic users were rather upset. I have just been running without my music and trying to get a better sense of how my body is reacting during different parts of my run and run by feel. I'd like a feature to be added to have our own music and as an IT person, I know there has to be a way, but I don't want to void a warranty lol. following this thread in hopes of a solution.

This design decision is unbelievable!
I applaud the decision to add on board GPS so I don’t need my phone... and then they take away my music so I now need my phone again...WTF!

I'm very upset. THis makes absolutely no sense to me. UNLESS it's about money which it probably is. Some exclusive deal with Deezer?

I was about a click away from pre-ordering when I noticed this problem as well. I will be keeping my Ionic for a while. I complained to Fitbit about this issue. It can kill their sales. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

This is for me also a bad decision.
I like to listen to my music that I bought online and not subscribe on other services.
It seems like Fitbit takes away our freedom of choice!

It’s bee we cause FitBit experienced technical difficulties they were not able to solve.

Not crazy, read the reviews and specs before buying a device.

I am livid!!! I bought my Sense after the Ionic recall. Ponied up and got the best, what a waste of money. Not being able to music on it is the worst decision. It's the main reason I have ever owned a fitbit. Don't need to go running with a brick in my pocket. Very unsatisfied with my purchase.
