Out of curiosity, is there a public log for (or has anyone been logging) the versions of the Sense firmware?

Hello @opiatedsherpa

I think what your looking for can be found here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1372.htm?Highlight=%20updates

😃 Please let me know if this answered your question

Hi @SunsetRunner

No, that wasn't exactly what I was looking for, I was hoping for a log with dates.  I'm a bit of a statistics junkie and I have a large spreadsheet with a collection of numbers and I was hoping to break them down further by the firmware versions.  I wanted to see what differences/improvements each update had provided.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Hello again @opiatedsherpa
I’m sorry I couldn’t find the information you needed. I did dig around quite a bit online and came up empty handed. The best I could come up with was here: https://www.ipa4fun.com/history/765/   It’s Fitbit App history versions but extremely basic. 🤷‍:female_sign: Maybe the link I provided here will spark a mission idea to create a new spreadsheet and continue to feed your “statistics Junkie” appetite. 😂

😃 I hope you have a fantastic rest of your day

@opiatedsherpa   You might find this information if you are willing to do a little detective work and search the Sense forum.  Fitbit announces firmware updates in the individual forums.  This Help article has the Sense/Versa 3 list of updates by OS, but not by firmware number or release date.  This is where the detective work comes in.  Try searching the Sense forum (change the All Community to This board in the drop down next to the Search icon) for the OS versions.  You can also try The Keyword.  It has Fitbit information that precedes Google's acquisition.

@LZeeW-  the information was already provided in the link given by @SunsetRunner.

Furthermore there is a firmware release history -

https://community.fitbit.com/t5/SDK-Development/Release-history-documentation/m-p/5082442/highlight/true#M16842

Missing the last update for SDK 6.1 which corresponds to

Fitbit OS 5.3 - x.128.6.12

@Guy_   The OP wants firmware release dates.  Neither one of @SunsetRunner's link contains firmware release dates.

Hey @Guy_,

Is there an easy way to see which models are associated with each OS or build?

That's the idea of what I have been trying to put together.

@opiatedsherpa  -Its explained in this link. Basically the first number is the model. Eg Sense is 44, Versa is 32 the following parts indicate the version

What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update?

Also SDK 5 & 6 are for newer models, eg Sense and Versa 3, SDK 4 is for older models.
