Hello,
The Ionic had issues with the charging contacts on the back of the watch. Has this been addressed with the new Sense watch? I have an Ionic about 2 years old and having huge problems with it charging.

Hello @alexsunny123. Welcome to the community forums!
Thank you for the detailed information. Regarding your question, I'd like to let you know that the charging contacts on the Sense are different than the ones on the Fitbit Ionic. Also, take into consideration that the contacts can be affected by some factors such as Dust and debris that are accumulated over time. Cleaning the charging contacts on the back of the device and the pins on the charging cable can help. For instructions, see: How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Also, if you experience any charging inconvenience, you can refer to this help article for general instructions: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
Hope this helps.

I’m going suggest tat the issue has not been resolved. At least not in my case. I’ve found that one charging contact point on the back of my sense has severely corroded and frequently give me a low charging rate warning. I have cleaned the Sense as instructed but this is beyond cleaning. And it has affected 4 charging devices with the corresponding pin freezing in the depressed position. I’ve contacted support about it but all I get from them is clean the contacts. There’s not much of a contact left to clean. Very disappointing to say the least.

Hi, I'd like to know how old is your Sense? I've been cleaning the back of my Sense with alcohol wipes and the thought of corroded contacts have been on my mind since my Sense is almost a year old. It's been used in running (sweat) and swims on the beach. Salt water is a corrosive substance after all.
There were times when I used contact cleaner to "clean" that charging contacts on the Sense. I started to get the slow charging message once in a while with my new charging cable with all the pins clean and protruding well (spring on pins haven't lost the ability to push all four pins upward).
