LCD Screen lifting off the Sense, as if the Glue failed?

I am curious to know if I am the only one experiencing this. My watch face LCD screen just lifted off and detached from the rest of the watch face. I was just sitting at my desk and moved my arm to pick up my phone and my screen just started flapping around one day. I have taken great care of the device so I know it's not a reflection of my use. I am curious if maybe the manufacturer used some sort of inferior glue product that fails after a period of time.

Unfortunately for me, that failure occurred about 1 year and 3 months into owning this expensive device. I tried to approach Fitbit customer service and got absolutely zero help, they felt their warranty period of 1 year was a sufficient life for the product.

Their customer service was horrendous, they offered no help, didn't ask any specifics about my device, or attempt to locate a service center for me .. they just told me I was out of luck and they would give me a discount on a new Fitbit. Hard pass on that, you haven't convinced me you deserve a re-investment,

What's even worse is they kept telling me how much they care about customer satisfaction in every email, and how much testing they do. The strange part is it was almost as if I was emailing with a chatbot. I got some generic canned reply to every email that was within the confines of some script, also each response was from some different team member so I, or new bot name so if it was a person couldn't even have a continued conversation with a single point of contact who was able to comprehend the nature of the discussion. Each question or reply was with someone else and they clearly didn't pick up on the nuance of the prior messages.

I can't be more displeased with a company and I hope that they clean up their act because I actually loved my device, I only wish it would have worked for more than 15 months. I guess the silver lining to all this, is that Samsung is offering a $ 120 trade-in credit for a broken Sense device when I purchase their new Galaxy 5 pro.

Try a watch smith. Maybe they can help.

There are several reports of LCD screen lifting of the watch. If you want to try a diy fix, user LEOWOOD has a fix.
