I've added my main activities as separate new activities (Qigong and Horse Riding) and am able to manually log them under /activities, but they do not appear on my Dashboard and my Watch. The device is syncing regularly. What do I need to do?

Hi, @swissqigong , you cannot change which activities appear on your watch.  You need to use the “workout” option for this and then change the name of the activity in the app or in the web based dashboard.

If you create a custom activity on the web based dashboard it will not appear in your exercise shortcuts on your app dashboard.  However, if you go to your “workout” and choose “categorize exercise” you will be able to access your custom activities and update the category.

If you need more help with this, please let us know which phone/ dashboard you use to view your Fitbit activity.

I hope this helps.  Welcome to the forums!

I found that the data on the exercise tile gets updated on the watch with a manual added exercise through the phone app. However tapping on the tile only shows data that was recorded through the watch.

Hi Julia, many thanks.

I manage to use the "workout" option on my watch and then change the name in the web based dashboard so this is great.

1. However I can't find the edit option "categorize exercise" on my web based dashboard. I'm a PC user

2. On the mobile app I can edit the "workout" but only choose the predetermined activite as per the selection on the watch. I have a Samsung Galaxy phone /Android.

Thank you.
