Hello, please make the fitbit vibrate for a long time and emit a custom sound on the phone when the Battery is Low.
Currently, all fitbit does is emit a notification on the phone bit I always see it too late and don't have time to charge my watch before going out. That's why it would be great to make the notification much more noticeable.
Thank you.
Cedric.

@FanTV I haven't received the update yet, but it is supposed to include a low battery icon on the clock face and other status indicators.
I want to give you some advice about the type of battery that Fitbit uses and overall battery lifespan. Deep discharges, meaning letting your battery go below 20-25%, decrease battery lifespan. You should think about charging your battery more frequently. Fitbit also now says that frequent exposure to soap, shampoo, etc., aren't good for these devices. I always remove my Fitbit when showering and charge it then. Fitbit says that you can get 24 hours of battery life with a 12 minute charge, so you might be able to find a few minutes before going out, unless it is a real rush.

Hi @LZeeW - you raise an interesting point about charging.
Normally batteries have a number of charges per life span. Is this the case for Fitbit batteries? If so does frequent rapid charging expire the battery sooner?
Also charging from 99% to 100% can take nearly 15 minutes, is it really worth charging to 100%?
Can charging that last 1% damage the battery?
It only extends the battery range by 1.5 hours at most over the 144+ hours for the full range.
@FanTV- There are already watch faces in the gallery that show the battery percent permanently and even some that issue an alert for low battery, such as SimpleClockPro. It even tells you when it will be fully charged so you know if you have enough time to do it.

@Guy_ I am not a Fitbit employee, so I have no specific knowledge of Fitbit batteries, only Li-ion batteries in general. A good place to learn about batteries is Battery University.
BTW, your clock face recommendation won't help @FanTV as it doesn't appear to be available for the Sense/Versa 3.

@Guy_ The Sense/Versa 3 version didn't show up when I first searched the App Gallery. I found it on my second search. Your design doesn't suit my tastes and my reaction was that a better name would be BusyClockPro.
I provided the link because any significant discussion of battery life and performance would get the very quick TL;DR.

Hi @FanTV. It's good to see you here. @LZeeW and @Guy_ Thanks for your help and great insights.
@FanTV Thanks for sharing this idea with us. As our friend mentioned, with the latest firmware update your Sense will display an indicator when the battery is critically low. You can learn more about these new indicators here. Please note that this update is still rolling out, so wait until it's available to download.
Because you'd also like your watch to emit a custom sound on your phone, I'd recommend sharing this idea in the Feature Suggestions board. That way our developers can take it into consideration for new updates or product development.
See you around.
