Referring to the home screen of a new Fitbit Sense, does anyone know the meaning of the pattern and its colors? What are they indicating?

They don't indicate anything. It's just for show and you can change clock faces.

I'm confused @stanhilliard with over a thousand watch faces to choose from. Which face are you using?
Do the colors change throughout the day?

Do you see the colors change as the day progresses?
They may simply be colors that the author picked.

Welcome, @stanhilliard. It's good to see a new face around. @SunsetRunner and @Rich_Laue Thanks for stopping by to help our new friend.
@stanhilliard Thanks for the details provided. If you're referring to the Spectrum clock face, those colors were selected just to differentiate between your steps, sleep and heart rate values. While it's not possible to change the colors, you can choose from many other clock faces available for the Sense.

But what do they mean? They change shape throughout the day. All start low, I can see the red slope increase/decrease with my heart rate I can see the teal one is steps. Right now I'm at13.5k steps, with a 10k step goal, so im over goal. The slope on that color band is the steepest, at almost a 90° slash across the right side of the face.

The colors do t change, but the amount of color does - the lines change inclination, and the area filled in varies.

On the standard sense screen the colours do change as your day progresses and there are 3 colours so does anyone know what each colour represents
Update:
So the colours on the standard sense clock face are pink purple and aqua. If you tap the home screen you will be navigated to total steps which is aqua, tap again takes you to sleep score, tap again takes you to testing heart rate. This is why the colours change. Hope this helps

Hi there, @MKKwisny, @eezeepee and @MKKwisny.
It's good to see you around and thanks for sharing your thoughts about the Sense. As mentioned before, if you're referring to the Spectrum clock face, this one will display different colors representing each stat, and each color area will change automatically as soon as you start exercising or being more active. Please check @SunsetRunner post which provides a great description of each color, and take the picture below as reference.
I appreciate everyone's feedback and we'll keep working to make Fitbit more useful for you!
