I want to know if I can download songs onto my Fitbit and go for a run / to the gym leaving my phone at home - listening to songs through my Bluetooth headphones. I have googled and googled and can’t get a straight answer. I use Spotify and Amazon music on prime.

Accepted Solutions

1) Spotify app is just a remote controller and you still need your mobile phone.

2) You can't download songs (for example, mp3 files from PC) for offline use.

3) I think, you can have offline playlists when you use Deezer but I am not 100% sure about that.

soooooo...... I just downloaded the Spotify on my Fitbit... and then set up an account.. to then find out... you have to have a premium account to use Spotify on your fitbit...

Nooooo! For goodness sake. And I’ve got a feeling even if you have premium you need your phone near the watch to use the music ... which defeats the point entirely for me!

not entirely sure, but makes sense, as you'd need the internet???

I also don't fancy paying another subscription...
