The problem started this morning after I downloaded the latest iOS update (v 14.5), not sure if that has anything to do with it, but I've tried all the recommendations (removed and re-installed the Sense, re-booted the phone, turned bluetooth on and off, removed all other bluetooth devices...) over and over, and nothing. You can see that the Sense wants to sync, it tries to sync, but the progress line goes really slow and gets only about halfway and then stops. I also have a Zip (as a back-up) that seems to sync just fine, and other members of my household have other devices (Versas), all on the same network and they don't seem to be having any problems. This is really frustrating, please help.

Things to try is a logout of the Fitbit App, or eventually uninstalling and reinstalling it and redoing the notification setup.
Before you do that check the version of the Fitbit App.
There may have been an update recently that you got when updating the phone.
