My new Sense Doesn't record sleep - health metrics

Hi!

I got a new Sense (third one...) nearly three weeks ago because it split in half.  new Sense has not once recorded sleep for more than a few minutes. No sleep recording gives no health metrics - no readiness score, sice these features dpend on - recording sleep...Futhermore I can't get HRV reading when trying to perform an EDA scan.

Latest firmware - latest Android App.

Any suggestions?

Hi @LokeAa.

I'm sure you've probably already tried the obvious things like cleaning the sensors and making sure that the device is quite snug on the wrist during sleep?

Is your Sense syncing properly? You can see other data (like steps, HR etc) synced to the app?

@N8teGee , I expect a new device to be clean....I wear it the same way as I did with the previous ones.

Ok sorry, I didn't see you mention how long you had worn it for.

I guess your only other option is to get back onto support again, as I'm sure most of the suggestions here won't be of much use to you (especially if it's a hardware issue).

Good luck.

@N8teGee you are probably  right. It's just annoying, The only issue I had with he previous one before it spllt  in half was stair count. I can live with incorrect stairs, but no health metrics is of course unacceptable. I of course have to perform a factory reset first, it takes time, 99% sure it won't make any difference, then call them, get a new one....It will be my number 4 in 14 months....

Very curious if the factory reset helped. If you got a replacement what was your experience with it?
