My Sense is waking me up in the middle of the night vibrating and light going off. This is not helping my sleep!  Why is it doing this and how do I turn it off?

Hello @ChrisMM and welcome to the Help forums.  Your Sense is vibrating from some kind of notification.  The solution is to put your Sense into Sleep Mode to turn them off.  You can do this manually by swiping to the right and tapping on the moon.  If you have regular sleep times, you can set a Sleep Schedule in the Settings on the Sense.  Sleep Mode stops notifications, disables the automatic screen wake (you can wake it by tapping the screen twice), and sets the brightness to dim.

When your Sense vibrates in the middle of the night, you are probably more interested in getting back to sleep than figuring out where the notification came from.  You can check your notifications in the morning by swiping down on the screen and see where they are coming from.  A few users have had this notification issue because they had calories as their main goal.  They were getting their goal celebrations while asleep.

I hope this helps.

Are you turning on sleep mode at night?

I had it on night mode and still had notifications or lights.

Yes I turned sleep mode on and have my sleep schedule set.  Still got lights and vibration

When it vibrates does it give you a notification? I had to change my heart rate notifications and the time of day it notifies me to move so it would vibrate less.

If all that didn't help I would call customer service!

Mine goes off due to design flaw. The side button hits my wrist bone or my forearm all day and night. I am very disappointed in this product. Overall worst product I have purchased. Good luck sleeping

Is it a notification or is it rebooting? If you look at it, do you see the fitbit logo? Then it's rebooting. Mine does that too. Supposedly, fitbit is hard at work figuring it out.

you can turn off the press and hold of the button to stop this from happening. ive been able to get by with just the double press being active without much issue.
