we pre-ordered early, and ours were shipped on the 25th. We are STILL awaiting delivery. Now are supposed to be delivered Oct. 13th. There is no reason for it to take so long. The enthusiasm is fading.
Fitbit needs to get its shipping workked out!

Hi @eastocean1 if your devices were shipped, they are no longer under the control of Fitbit, but with the shipper. I ordered something from eBay that was supposed to get to my home the end of September and it's still not here. From what I've read, the USPS and other shippers are experiencing heavy use of their services and are falling behind. Patience is all we can do at this moment. Hope your Fitbits get to you soon.

Actually, it is the responsibility of the Shipping Department to select a carrier that best delivers the product to the customer at an optimal price. It is a function of the Shipping Department to monitor the effectiveness and timeliness of the contractor. There are many choices out there, including FedEx, DHL, UPS and USPS, and the various combinations of the major carriers and USPS. In this case, they are using FedEx Smart Post. It is not working well. I and my wife are still waiting for the delivery of our Fitbits, shipped on September 25th.
Even in a time of Covid, this is not acceptable.

FedEx Smart post is a handshake from FedEx to the USPS. For some reason that takes the longest. Also USPS is basically under siege. They are effectively being dismantled. They are overworked, underpaid and overwhelmed. In times like this I do think it would be better for Fitbit to avoid using USPS. I know the other carriers have alot on their plate right now too. The current administration is destroying our postal service. Vote!
