Negative Experience of the FitBit Sense

I have been a long time user of FitBit. My previous device was the Versa 2. In general a solid device that has given me few problems.

 

I thought given that the Black Friday sales approaching and FitBit reducing the price of the Sense by £70 that £200 would be a worthwhile purchase so I bit the bullet and dived in.


I've had a pretty dismal experience since then.

 

Syncing the phone initially not an issue this worked.


The fun and games started when trying to upload my music mp3's to the new device. In short what worked like a charm for the Versa device doesn't seem to work at all.

 

And since then all downhill. Can't even upload a simple clock face - the phone app / app on the PC just do not sync consistently.


I've done multiple restarts on the device. Really bad.

Hi, @KamHaider -  you can't upload music mp3's to the Sense, it's not supported.

It may be that in the process you connected the Sense to your computer, that's why its no longer syncing with the phone.

Try turning off your computer, logout of the Fitbit App on the phone and restart the watch, then login to the Fitbit App.

Head to the phone Home screen without closing the Fitbit App, a sync popup should appear.

Click on this and it should remake the pair and link with your phone.

Thanks Guy. Yes have know found out that this feature is not supported on the Sense. A shame.
