Hi all,

 

a new Turn-by-Turn-Navigation app 'Navigation wear' is now available.

It basically reads the permanent notification of Google maps and displays it on the Sense, worked great. I was really missing a Navigation app.

Unfortunately it does only work one time on my Xiaomi device, then the Android app won't recognize the installed Fitbit app. I have to reinstall both apps again in order to make it work again for exactly one time, rinse and repeat. I have already contacted the developer regarding this issue.

Did someone else face this problem - might be Xiaomi specific?

Nevertheless I would strongly recommend to try the app, there is a free version and is working really good - if it is working.

Short update:

Only the 'start Navigation' functionality' from inside the app and the message regarding not installed fitbit nav app are broken - at least on my device. When starting the navigation directly from Google maps, everything works as expected.
