Hello! I got a Sense for Christmas to replace a Versa. The Sense does not count calories burned the same 😞 I do kickboxing twice a week and with the Versa my calories burned were like 260 and my weight/circuit workouts like 263. Now with the Sense kickboxing registering 200 and my other workouts 136. Why is this?? Makes me sad about the change.

hey there.. I believe there is a known issue with some forms of activities that require bursts of energy not being calculated properly because of the HR function. I know Fitbit is aware of the issue, but I don't think there is a remedy at this time. If you follow the Sense board in this community, you will get an idea of what the issue is. If you have had success with calories calculated using the Versa.. meaning you didn't end up gaining weight because the calories counted was too high, then make the assumption that you are burning about the same as before and monitor as you were previously. Not ideal, I realize, but there it is.

Yes I now see allllllll the other commenters expressing frustration at this issue. While I appreciate your comment...I bought a device to help track various things - including exercise. Calculating this based on whether or not I've gained weight .. that's silly lol. There are so many other factors involved.
