After lots of research I decided to buy a Fitbit.  

Couldn’t purchase ‘sense’ as it has nickel in.

 

cheap jewellery has nickel in... 

is the Fitbit actually a cheap product?

 

no sale for Fitbit today. 🙁

Having ordered a Fitbit myself, waiting to arrive today. It would be wonderful if everyone can wear a Fitbit tracker of personal choice.

 

It's possible to add your vote to @candace626 's suggestion on the feature suggestion section on the forums:

The phone can be set up to track steps when desired with Fitbit MobileTrack

Most stainless steel has some level of nickle on it. Most expensive jewelry is not made of stainless steel and will not have any nickel. 

Even medical grade Stainless Steel has some Nickel and fitbit now conforms to the European standards and not the more relaxed US standards. 

Even so their are a few users that may have reactions.
