Just received the sense for Christmas. HR rate is not accurate at all when going for walks or working out. After a 2 hr walk, I got a whooping 5 minutes for active zone. I just switched from the inspire 2 to sense, and everything is way off. How can this be fixed? Do not give me links to how to place and wear the device or reset. Firmware is up to date. App is up to date, amd phone is a note 20 5g. How can I fix this issue

@Rivas80 how many active zone minutes did you get with Inspire 2? In my case I never get many active zone minutes for walks. Also, it's been reported that switching trackers in the middle of day can lead to loss of azm. It happened to me before.

@Rivas80 I agree with Marmaduke. I don't get many AZM for walks at all. I manually lowered my maximum resting heart rate so that I could start earning them again when Fitbit switched from Active Minutes to AZM. Once I lowered my maximum RHR a little bit, I started receiving AZM for walks again.

I used to get about 45 to 50 azm daily. Am still trying to figure out how to navigate the heart rate settings. Is it possible to adjust the heart rate zones?

I got you beat!! I got 30 active zone minutes for a 20 minute walk/run on the treadmill. I must have been killing it to have more zone minutes than total exercise.

I think for you it's because how they calculate the zone minutes. If it goes over 142 you get 2 zone minutes for each minute above 142bpm. I think I have my issue fixed.
Logged onto my account through the website instead of the app. All configuration in the app did not show on the website. Once I changed it on website I now get my zone minutes. Also, maybe that helped, under sleep data I changed my settings to sensitive, and it appears that may have helped (not sure, but hr updates steadily without delays now.)

@Denitra If you tap on the AZM signal on phone app and read the data and explanation below, you will see that you get double minutes for being in Cardio or Peak zones. This is one of the differences from old "active minutes". AZM give you more credit for exercisong more strenuously.

@Rivas80 just to be a nuisance - these 50 were active zone minutes and not active minutes?

@Rivas80 thank you for the screenshots! Please bear with me as I'm like a French bulldog with a bone. 🤣 You mentioned inspire HR in your last post. In the first one you mentioned Inspire 2... Inspire HR doesn't measure active zone minutes. The number would make sense then as one can earn active minutes easily vs active zone minutes. Ask @Heather-S ! 😁 But just in case, could you share a heart rate recording for the exercise with sense and the one with inspire.

Oh sorry lol, yeah it was the inspire 2. Had the HR before that. I can't find a good comparison time and HR rate wise, but the pic with 4 zone minutes is the sense.
But it shows the difference in HR readings, although I always walk at the same pace. I do walk at different times, based on time available

@Rivas80 there's 10-15 BPM difference indeed. You must be power walking or climbing some hills. 👍🏻 150 is quite high cardio. I honestly cannot explain this difference. Tho when I look at sense recording of seems less erratic which I would expect from a brisk walk. I would keep an eye on sense for the next several days.

I’m having the same issue. I got the Fitbit sense for Christmas after using the versa2. My HR in the gym was about 115-120 and running was about 140. Now my HR in gym is 86 and running is 115. This is very distracting constantly having to adjust my wrist watch take it off to see if that will help and not feeling motivated to workout because of this.

My Sense 2 totally does not read the heart rate and zone minutes correctly. This is bummer for me as I use these heavily. I am really disappointed as the Sense one had the same issue. I will not be buying anymore Sense smartwatch in the future. Google just won’t address the issues with the Sense product.
