I've  just bought a non sense or in this case over sense , it's recording too many steps , I was on my bike for a short time just cruising and it recorded over 11k steps which is impossible , I paid a lot of money :money_with_wings: and it just does not work and if any one sujests that cruising on my road bike burns calories tell that to my waist line.

Fitbit devices won't disable step detection for non-steps activities. When cycling, it results in adding steps due to uneven road surface, bumps or simply shaky ride. Steps are more like a side effect here. It's the way Fitbit devices are designed to work.

Wasn't a cycle it was riding my motorcycle - cruiser, just sitting on my

@Stephenp123 same, uneven surface and the shaky ride are interpreted as steps. It doesn't matter whether it's bike, motorbike, car or horse. It works all the same for step detection.

I must be shaky then it logged 19 steps in 2 Meters 🤣. While I'm on it how
do I do 11k steps while having a resting heart rate? . People can make all
the excuses they like but the energy, heart rate , body temp , oxygen
required don't add up.
