Notifications not working. - Xiaomi Mi 10 T Pro

So thought I would try and help a few of you.

Sense watch worked a treat on Oppo phone but when switch to Xiaomi notifications stopped working!.

To save you all much time I want to explain many phones now have bloatware to place apps into sleep mode in the background to save battery life

This will result in everything looking like its working but notifications will not get sent to your watch as this uses the battery!

Many phones have a few levels for power saving and it maybe easy for many people to find the power saving area, select the fitbit app and set it to always run in the background...job done 🙂

But if like me you get a xiaomi phone (mine is a the Mi10T Pro) there a few layers, so to help others here is what to do

settings/batter&performance/appbatterysaver/fibit app...select "no restrictions".

...hey presto your watch will now once again notify you and work just like it should.

You are welcome 🙂

Hi @stevenash that is great to hear, but by not putting the answer in a response, we can not mark your answer as a solution.
